News from Parochial Church Council
At our July meeting we discussed how we could improve our worship at St Andrew’s. We want to glorify God, encourage one another and make newcomers feel welcome. We felt it would be useful to review the repertoire of hymns and songs used, so if you have any favourites, or songs you feel would add to our services, please let Sally know. We will also be introducing ‘Songs of Praise’ services when there is a 5th Sunday in the month, so will be looking for volunteers to choose a hymn and tell us why. The first of these will be on Sunday 30 September. Again, send your suggestions to Sally. This month PCC will be discussing plans for Christmas services and possibilities for tweaking the pattern of services across a month so, please speak to a PCC member if you would like to make a suggestion. PCC minutes are available to read on the noticeboard.
