Every month we hold a service at Tadpole Farm CE Primary Academy. This is an all age service for those who attend St Andrews, other churches or no church at all. We begin at 4pm with refreshments then have music, (usually a mixture of contemporary and more traditional songs), a Bible story for all, a craft for children and a talk for adults and a time of prayer. Donna and her sons (in school years 3 and 7) started coming along last term and Donna wrote this review to help other people know what to expect:
"The first time we attended, we were so warmly welcomed. The boys liked the relaxed atmosphere and had lots of fun doing some very creative craft activities.
The service was very enjoyable too (we all got to do a little bit of light-hearted acting) which added depth to the Bible story that we were learning about.
We really enjoyed the singing (especially the action songs) although I found it hard not to laugh, whilst trying to keep up with the actions.
We left the service in high spirits and felt we had made some lovely new friends within the Church community and we look forward to continuing this journey with St Andrews Church.
It would be lovely to see the Family Service grow and develop within our local community and to see more young families attend this wonderful service."
It would be great to see you at one of the services planned for the coming academic year.
