On Monday 21st September St Andrews welcomed the 7th Swindon Sparrowhawks Beaver colony into church to talk about things you'd find in the building, and to help us decorate for our upcoming Harvest Festival service taking place on Sunday 4th October at 10.00am.
They all had a Spot It tick sheet to complete, before splitting into their respective Lodges to complete various activities, including making leaf pumpkins to decorate the produce they all brought along, for The Boxes of Hope charity, decorating the altar and choir stalls, and displaying their gifts on the window ledges.
It was lovely having them, and the church is now ready to celebrate the Harvest.
