On Saturday 12th September we held our lates Heritage Open Day, which provided a great opportunity to find out more about the history of St Andrew’s and the people who have worshipped here over the centuries.
Paul took us back through the history of the building and introduced us to the remarkable stories of some of the people buried in the churchyard.
Coral (suitably dressed!) took us back to the 1920s to see what life would be like for the members of the St Andrew's congregation.
Mike took us around the remarkable windows of St Andrew's.
Thanks to all those who helped, particularly providing brilliant ploughman's lunches and cakes, cofee and teas.
