Many years ago, I was asked to take a photograph of our then church, St Mary's, Langley, from the air to be used on a publicity brochure for a tower appeal. Back then there was only one way to do this: we called in the fire brigade. You can see me below, pretending to be a fireman.
Thanks to the availability of drones, though, this is now a much easier operation. Our architect Calvin Weaver kindly provided us with some video footage of St Andrew's from the air, which gives us the opportunity to see the church in a whole new way. You can even see the year in which one of our bells was made from the inscription on the side of it. If you can, make the video full screen using the control shown on the right to see it at its best.
