Celebrating God's bounty
This year our main harvest events were:
- Sunday 6 October - Harvest Festival at 10am Children's Service and 6pm Holy Communion
- Friday 11 October - Harvest Supper and Quiz
Thank you for everyone who brought items for the boxes of hope - we particuarly asked for ketchup and jam, and were able to provide over 30 of each. You can watch the children's service here.
On Friday we had a close-fought quiz, expertly run by Martin, and a delicious harvest supper of soup and a roll, jacket potatoes with a range of fillings, bread and butter pudding (of course with custard), and for those who had any room left, cheese and biscuits. Thanks very much to Coral and her helpers who provided all the food and waited on us so well.
