Pause and Pray

Forthcoming opportunities to meet for 30 minutes of reflection, Bible reading and silent prayer on the first Monday of each month in church at 7pm are 6th July and 3rd August. Come and enjoy a pause at the start of the month.

Bible Study Group

We will continue to explore the early chapters of Genesis at 10am and 7pm on 1st and 15th July at 15 Rackham Close. Each session lasts about 90 minutes and is a great way to learn more about the Bible and share insights and questions. New members always welcome.

If there is some part of the Bible or aspect of church life you are curious about please speak to Sally and Martina to help us as we plan the programme for the autumn.

Could you be a School Governor?

Tadpole Farm CE Primary Academy is our linked Church of England School and thriving as part of the Blue Kite Academy Trust. We need some more Foundation Governors (those with a link to a church) and Sally would love to be joined by a couple of people from St Andrew’s on the governing body to strengthen our links with the school further. If you are interested, please talk to Sally.

Interested in preaching?

Sally, Karen and Martina meet once a quarter to discuss preaching and how to develop as preachers. If you would like to join us to provide a view from the pew or to explore the possibility of preaching yourself, please talk to Sally. The next meeting is on 5th August at 1.30pm at 15 Rackham Close.

Prayer for our local community
Use the cycle of prayer sheet on our website and pray for:

  • Martina as she begins her ministry as a priest.
  • The final weeks of the school year at the 11 schools in our parish.
  • New school governors for Tadpole Farm Academy.
