We will be marking the start of Lent at 7pm on Wednesday 18th February with a service of repentance, the imposition of ashes and Holy Communion. Please bring your palm crosses back to church to provide the ash.
On six Mondays during Lent (23rd February to 30 March inclusive) there will be a chance to ‘Pause and pray’ with a short reflective service in church, or join on Zoom using the usual link.
The Church of England has produced some resources called Draw near, teaching us how we can cultivate the habits and practices that will help us to draw closer to God. For adults, these are available on the Everyday Faith App. For families and children, there are booklets available with a daily Bible reading, prayer and activity. Please ask Sally if you would like a booklet. You can read some sample pages here.
